What it does
Local Delivery Premium is built by the team behind Locate2u, a dispatch and route-planning platform. Turn the integration on and every Shopify order with a delivery slot becomes a stop in Locate2u, sorted into an efficient route and sent to a driver's phone.
You do not need it. The cart picker, delivery areas and order calendar all work on their own. The integration is for stores running their own drivers.
Connecting
The panel is called Last Mile Integration, under the Locate2u button below the sidebar tabs.
- Switch on Enable Locate2u integration.
- Paste your client identifier and client secret from your Locate2u account.
- The status badge tells you where you stand: Checking, Connected, Auth failed, or Not verified.
Auth failed almost always means the client secret was pasted with a trailing space, or the credentials belong to a different Locate2u account.
Trip Dashboard
The Trip Dashboard tab mirrors every stop's live status from Locate2u inside Shopify, so you can see where a delivery is without opening a second system.
