What the app does
Local Delivery Premium adds a delivery date and time slot picker to your Shopify cart drawer and cart page. Customers choose when they want their order, and the choice travels with the order into Shopify and on to your drivers.
You control which days and slots appear. Set delivery areas by postcode, give each one its own cutoff time, prep time and daily order limit, and the picker only offers days you can actually deliver.
The picker lives in the cart, not at checkout. At checkout, Shopify shows the delivery rate built from what the customer already chose.
First five minutes
- Install from the Shopify App Store. The app reads your products and existing shipping setup; it does not rebuild your theme.
- Open Delivery locations and create your first area. Give it a name, the postcodes you deliver to, and the days you deliver.
- Add time slots on the Timeslots tab. A slot can be an hour, two hours, four hours, or all day.
- Set a cutoff on the Location settings tab, so same-day orders stop being offered after your dispatch time.
- Open your storefront, add something to the cart, and check the picker appears.
If the picker does not appear, the app embed may be off in your theme. Theme editor, App embeds, then enable Local Delivery Premium.
